Alex Bracken, a stalwart on the Dubai circuit since his arrival in Dubai 15 years ago, became an integral cog in the development of internationally recognised and award winning entertainment brands. Alex’s expertise and insight covers a spectrum of industry practices and he is famed for launching much-loved venues including 360, Chi at the Lodge and The Stables. His accomplishments have lent him many opportunities to move the local industry forward onto a globally recognized platform.


Group general manager Ian West also adds, “It’s a really exciting time for 4-Front as we look towards expansion with our upcoming projects and we’re looking forward to adding to the portfolio with some fantastic new concepts” as well as the opening of Mr Miyagi’s and Cobra Kai, a dual concept restaurant and lounge bar spanning an impressive 11,000 square feet across the 9th floor of Media City’s Media One hotel. Mr Miyagi’s is an urban restaurant and kitchen serving up an eclectic and authentic menu of street eats and unique sips straight from the streets of Asia, while adjacent to it is long-term rival Cobra Kai bar.  Decked out in dimly lit hues of neon pink and yellow, Cobra Kai is a true experience of all the liquid treasures the Asian street market has to offer.


The Stamford opened in July 2017 and is the first UK venture by the company, located in the affluent Cheshire village of Bowdon. A modern interpretation of pubs from a bygone era, The Stamford will encompass a restaurant, bar and speakeasy, as well as transforming the existing outbuildings into a farm shop and deli to create an all day, every day occasion space for locals and visitors alike.


And this is only the beginning for the group, with a long-term vision for cautious but ambitious global expansion. “Our long term plan is to create 50 outlets in the next five years, and we continue to strive for hospitality excellence at every level through our unique approach and passion for creating driven and personable service teams” concludes Alex.
